About The Role

DescriptionGreenway Ford is looking for an experienced and motivated automotive dealership Service Manager to join our team! A Service Manager candidate should have a broad-based knowledge in the day-to-day operations of a dealership service department and the personality to motivate, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service professionals. You should be experienced and aware of the latest customer service practices and be a persistent problem solver. A qualified candidate must also be able to deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our customers on a continuous basis to promote revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in automotive service leadership
  • Knowledge of the Ford Product and Ford Motor Company processes is preferred
  • Strong understanding of service advisor sales processes, customer handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coach, counsel, and hold team members accountable in a professional and constructive manner.
  • CDK experience is a plus
  • Possess extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, inclusive of product details and company services offered
  • Pass pre-employment testing including background check, MVR, and drug screen

QualificationsResponsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers
  • Effectively hire and manage team members
  • Solve problems and meet predetermined services and sales objectives
  • Ensure processes are in place to evaluate staff and workflow, and to communicate clearly with customers
  • Conduct daily one on one meetings with team members to identify potential service issues
  • Train and develop the staff to promote customer satisfaction ensuring and maintaining above average CSI scores
  • Generate and strive to increase sales and implement a turnover process to ensure objectives are met
  • Assess present and future need, trends, problems and opportunities of the service department
