Responsibilities

Daily Cashbook Management
Bank statements Reconciliation
Allocation of direct payments to debtors
Allocation of EFT payments from Cash customers
Logging calls with FNB for unidentified deposit
Logging calls with the FNB for outstanding deposits
Following up with the FNB or Cash connect shortages/surpluses on Bank Statement
Assisting with Audit and Compliance on Bank recon
Maintain proper filing system for all the documentations
Fuel log Recon – when truck fuel cards are not working
Processing and receipting of PO’s
Support bookkeeper with preparation of Bread& Returns reconciliation
Ad hoc duties requested by management

Key Attributes and Competencies

Knowledge of financial processes and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with financial computer systems and software such as Mozaic and MS Office
Innovative, self-driven, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Strong numeric skills and high accuracy in data entry
Ability to work as a team player

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Matric and Accounting qualification
2 to 3 years' experience working in finance will be an added advantage
Computer literate and proficient in MS office (word and excel)
