About The Role
The Technical Consultant I is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable seamless interaction between multiple applications through unified interfaces or dashboards. The scope of this job includes establishing connections, protocols, and standards that allow disparate applications to exchange data, share resources, and collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned technical implementation tasks by following established procedures and documentation and escalating any deviations from documented procedures.
- Perform foundational system deployment activities in standard environments and complete basic validation checks to ensure infrastructure components are operational.
- Complete routine system configuration tasks, including user setup, role assignment, and other predefined activities aligned to the project scope.
- Train client IT departments on basic system administration and operational tasks, such as user account management and device mapping.
- Communicate project updates to clients and internal teams in a timely manner.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting for minor issues, provide a diagnosis, and propose a resolution.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 0-2 years relevant work experience
- Experience working with HL7 interfaces, messaging, or integration workflows
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally in client-facing interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL or other database technologies, including academic, project-based, or professional experience
- Familiarity with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and related file-transfer processes
- Exposure to or experience with IBM RPG
- Experience gathering, documenting, or translating client needs into technical requirements
- Familiarity with consulting practices such as issue management, problem management, scope awareness, and cross-functional collaboration
Job Expectations
- Willing to travel up to 15% based on business needs
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
