About The Role
The Document Control Support is responsible for managing and maintaining documents within the engineering team to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. -
General Responsibilities
- Maintains and complies with policies, regulations and procedures for document control, engineering changes and company records.
- Leads with the preparation and archiving of all engineering records that must be kept for proper preservation outside and inside the plant.
- Manages the document control database, and engineering records.
- Ensures that documents comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Develops and implements document control procedures and best practices.
- Maintains records of document distribution, usage, and revisions.
- Generates reports on document control activities, such as the status of documents and compliance with control processes.
- Identifies opportunities to improve document management systems and processes.
Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Maintain controlled engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer documentation in accordance with AS9100 and internal configuration management procedures.
- Create, maintain, and update product structures, Engineering Bills of Material (BOMs), and related product data within ERP and PLM systems.
- Route changes through required approval workflows and track completion status.
- Support audits by providing documentation records and evidence of document control compliance.
- Assist in developing and improving document control processes, workflows, and system utilization.

Hourly Base Pay Range
$34.60 - $47.58
