Job Description

Responsibilities

Solution Delivery

  • Build architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform
  • Build declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) in Salesforce Lightning
  • Create on-record analytics (roll up fields, formula fields, record-level reports) in Salesforce
  • Configure the Salesforce objects, custom settings and account model
  • Install and configure applications from the Salesforce AppExchange such as email, social media, financial management, online payment, SMS, and form building applications. Install and configure proprietary applications as needed
  • Facilitate business process workshops and requirements gathering sessions with customer stakeholders
  • Define appropriate data model and system architecture from business requirements workshops
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation appropriate for both engineering and clients. This includes documentation mapping detailed (field level) data flows
  • Create written recommendations, outlining multiple solution designs and considerations for each. Discuss data model considerations internally and with clients
  • Design mockups of custom pages
  • Rapidly prototype solutions and integrate feedback to support iterative development cycles

Sales & Presales

  • Facilitate discovery calls to understand prospective clients' business processes, pain points, and goals, and translate those into Salesforce solution approaches
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and gap analyses to qualify opportunities and identify Industry Cloud, AppExchange, and custom configuration needs
  • Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments that showcase Salesforce capabilities against the prospect's use cases
  • Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses, including solution narratives, scope definitions, assumptions, and level-of-effort estimates
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert during the sales cycle, answering architecture, integration, data migration, and security questions from prospects
  • Estimate implementation effort and identify delivery risks to inform accurate pricing and timelines
  • Support a smooth handoff from sales to delivery by documenting agreed-upon scope, requirements, and design decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience with Management or Technology Consulting experience preferred. Salesforce Administrator Certification (Admin 201) required
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Data Loader and/or DemandTools
  • Certified Salesforce Cloud Consultant and Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Admin 301) preferred
  • Experience implementing databases and building custom applications on the salesforce platform
  • Experience building simple decision models from complex logic requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint) with fluency in Excel and Google Sheet
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%

The compensation range for this role is $85,910 - $162,890. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
