About The Role

Write the Go. Design, build and ship the internal services and tooling the development organisation runs on
Own the lifecycle. Deploy what you write, maintain its Helm charts, and work directly with our Kubernetes clusters
Manage the infrastructure around your services with Terraform
Run what you build. You are on call for the services you own
Evolve what exists. Our existing internal services, integrations and the wider tooling estate all need attention
Work with your users. The development teams are your customers; contribute to other parts of the system where it helps
This is a Go-centric role that requires strong, current Go expertise. Most of your work will be in Go
Building complex backend services and APIs
Kubernetes and Helm: you deploy your own services and are comfortable working with clusters
Terraform: you manage the infrastructure around your own services
Relational databases (e.g. Postgres) and key-value stores (e.g. Redis)
AI fluency level 3 - advanced proficiency. You have moved past using AI for single tasks: you apply it to complex problem solving, know how to leverage retrieval-augmented generation, and can judge the return on investment of a model or approach for a given job
