PH-Prof II IT Infra - Networking

Role / Job Summary

Responsible for the performance of technical support projects or tasks in accordance with contract requirements, appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Network Monitoring, Performance and capacity planning: monitor, reconfigure and optimize network hardware (i.e. routers, firewalls, switches) for performance improvements and future scalability.
Troubleshoot straightforward networking problems independently by investigating underlying problems.
Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems and escalating problems to vendor.
Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation and maintaining documentation.
Upgrades network by conferring with vendors, developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on Experience on Cisco Network switches series 9300,9500, 6800 and routers
series ISR 4k
Proven knowledge of ITIL framework.
LAN and WAN technologies
Routing and Switching
Firewall
VPN
