We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Owner to lead our Customer360 Integration team and shape the Integrations capability behind some of BNZ's most strategic technology investments.
At BNZ, we're transforming how we serve our customers through modern, connected technology that makes banking simpler, faster, and more reliable. As part of the Customer360 programme, our Integrations connect Salesforce/nCino with core systems, data platforms, banker and customer channels across the bank.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in either Wellington or Auckland, with a hybrid working approach of three days in the office and two days working flexibly.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
You will be responsible for maximising the value delivered by our Integrations while ensuring they remain secure, resilient, scalable, well-governed and sustainable to operate over the long term.
You'll provide both service ownership and people leadership, guiding a team of Business Analysts and working closely alongside our Integration Engineering Lead. You'll own the Customer360 Integrations roadmap, working with business stakeholders, Platform Owners, Architects and Engineers to prioritise delivery, continuous improvement and service performance.
What are the key responsibilities for this role?
- Integrations Strategy & Roadmap Management - Develop and maintain the Customer360 Integrations strategy, roadmap and priorities, ensuring investment aligns to outcomes and enterprise architecture direction.
- Backlog Prioritisation & Value Delivery - Own and prioritise the backlog, balancing business demand, technical debt, operational risk, regulatory expectations and strategic initiatives to maximise value.
- Service Ownership & Operational Excellence - Monitor reliability, security and availability through data-driven metrics, continuous improvement and service maturity initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration - Partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, vendors and delivery teams to align priorities, manage expectations and communicate direction, risks and outcomes.
- People Leadership & Team Development - Lead and develop Business Analysts, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous learning and high performance.

- Ownership and product management: Experience defining strategy, managing roadmaps, prioritising backlogs and delivering value-focused outcomes.
- Integration and enterprise technology: Understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures and system connectivity in large-scale environments.
- Service management: Experience improving reliability, availability, support processes, incident management and operational risk reduction.
- Stakeholder influence: Strong communication skills across technology, business, vendor and leadership groups.
- People leadership: Proven experience leading, developing, coaching and growing teams.
- Agile delivery and change: Strong understanding of Agile ways of working and leading teams through change.
- Banking or financial services: Experience in banking, financial services, regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments would be advantageous.
