On this role, you will be responsible for the Accelleron's Service Station in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Service Station Manager will be embedded in Accelleron´s country organization in Argentina, reporting to the regional Operation Manager located in Brazil, and is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost efficient operation of the service station and workshop facility with a team between 8 to 15 people. The role ensures infrastructure integrity, effective asset maintenance, high-quality technical service delivery, strong order to cash execution performance, and full compliance with Quality and HSE standards.
The position leads service technicians and operational personnel while safeguarding company assets, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence across all site activities, aligned to the regional and global strategy.
Your responsibilities
HSE
- Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and all other businesses’ compliance, standards and regulations in its own area of responsibility.
- Ensures a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance throughout the local service organization.
- Show personal commitment to HSE by conducting sustainability observations tours consistently.
People and Leadership
- Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates. Improves service availability, provides training, and develops capabilities and competencies.
- Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Accountable to build an effective, capable and high-performing organization.
Operational Excellence
- Drives, implements, reports and monitors performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence etc.,)
- Responsible for the complete Quote to Cash process, that runs on the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity.
- Implements agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction.
Quality & Customer satisfaction
- Executes service strategy within own area of responsibility. Implements productized service offering, materials and initiatives for marketing and market penetration purposes.
- Builds sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention of customers together with sales. Supports sales resources in customer meetings.
- Drives consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback. (Net Promoter Score-NPS).
- Ensures customer focus, understanding sense of urgency and care on the area of his responsibility.
- Leads investigation processes for Customer Complaints and Internal non-Conformities.
Workshop and Assets Management
- Responsible for leading all workshop maintenance and asset management activities to maximize equipment reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance while ensuring full control and accountability of company assets.
- This role oversees the development and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, the management of workshop tools, machinery, diagnostic and measuring equipment, and the implementation of calibration and verification plans.
- The Station Manager maintains accurate asset registers and maintenance records, monitors equipment utilization and performance, identifies replacement and investment needs, and drives continuous reliability improvement initiatives.
- Additionally, the role ensures effective inventory management of machines spare parts and consumables, optimizes resource allocation, and controls maintenance-related costs to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
Infrastructure Management
- Responsible for ensuring that the station’s facilities and infrastructure remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully aligned with operational requirements and standards.
- The Station Manager oversees the condition, performance, availability, and reliability of workshop equipment, buildings, utilities, and supporting infrastructure, ensuring they effectively support the site's operational strategy.
- This role establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and ensures full compliance with local regulations, company standards, and technical requirements.
- The position also maintains strong relationships with landlords and industrial site representatives, fostering effective collaboration to support business continuity and long-term site performance.
Your background
- At least 10 years of experience on Team Management with direct and indirect reporting. Desirable experience leading mechanical workshop or ad-hoc facilities.
- Strong experience on Facility Management.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineer degree.
- Desirable knowledge on Rotating Machinery principles and maintenance concepts.
