Job description

Operate the palletizer and ensure all boxes are properly palletized.
Set up the palletizer for production and supply empty pallets as needed.
Perform hand palletizing when production volume exceeds the palletizer's capacity.
Lift and stack boxes weighing 40+ pounds .
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Equipment/PPE includes hairnets, beard nets, gloves, smocks, pallets, and product boxes.
On-the-job training provided.
No specific communication skills required.
Work inside a production facility.
Exposure to noise, wet floors, cool temperatures (50°F or below), moving equipment, and mechanical/electrical hazards.
Use of sanitizing solutions and chemicals.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
