Position Summary
Supports the talent acquisition team and hiring managers in creating candidate pipelines of highly qualified candidates for select positions. Supports processes related to external and internal candidate sourcing, applications, screening, and process expediting. Contributes to talent attraction initiatives through proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, marketing, and employer brand promotion to support current and future workforce needs.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Sources candidates using a variety of tools and platforms such AI, resume databases, networking sites such as LinkedIn using sophisticated Boolean search techniques, and social media channels.
- Builds and maintains talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions while identifying prospective candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with TA consultants and hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective candidate sourcing strategies, including keyword and Boolean searches.
- Creates prospect lists of potential candidates and maintains candidate information within the applicant tracking system and other internal databases.
- Supports candidate outreach campaigns through email, social media, and other sourcing platforms while fostering ongoing candidate engagement.
- Posts positions on professional job boards and supports talent acquisition marketing efforts designed to increase candidate awareness and applicant flow.
- Supports employer branding initiatives by helping promote organizational culture, values, employee experience, and career opportunities through digital and social media channels.
- Works collaboratively with the talent acquisition team to discuss openings, anticipated hiring needs, and talent market opportunities.
- Provides account management support for contracted sourcing and advertising platforms and tracks job posting expenditures.
- Supports talent acquisition team on building an effective talent acquisition effort to meet hiring goals including communication with hiring managers, applicants, advertising vendors, etc. May also assist with job fair hosting and community outreach events.
- Utilizes labor market information, talent intelligence, and sourcing metrics to identify opportunities for improving talent acquisition outcomes and candidate experience.
- Tracks and analyzes sourcing effectiveness, pipeline activity, candidate engagement, and talent acquisition marketing efforts.
- Identifies opportunities for improving candidate and hiring manager experience and provides updates regarding market trends and talent acquisition opportunities.
- Submits activity reports in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Equivalent of an associate degree with two years of experience in talent acquisition candidate sourcing and name generation or a related area, or an equivalent combination education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI to support candidate sourcing, social networks, professional sites, and resume databases.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software, preferably Workday.
- Ability to review job descriptions to develop keyword Boolean searches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, internet search tools, and social media channels.
- Experience supporting employer branding, recruitment marketing, social media engagement, or talent pipelining initiatives preferred.
- Familiarity with talent intelligence, workforce analytics, CRM platforms, or talent community management.
- Displays natural curiosity and takes initiative to identify opportunities, solve problems

Salary Range
$21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
