About The Role

Join Hitachi Energy as a Test Technician Lead and help ensure that the materials and products supporting our manufacturing operations meet established quality standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Conduct routine laboratory tests according to specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with appropriate guidance.
Record test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and designated systems.
Support investigations involving quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer concerns.
Perform basic statistical analysis and prepare reports for review.
Follow safety requirements, Good Laboratory Practices, and quality management systems.
Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

An associate degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
One to three years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance laboratory is preferred.
Familiarity with common laboratory equipment, testing methods, and analytical techniques.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices or relevant quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when testing, analyzing, and documenting information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
