About The Role

Lead the kitchen of a busy, high-volume pub in the heart of Victoria Park.

The Victoria Park Hotel is looking for a passionate and commercially minded Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help take the venue to the next level.

With a strong local following, loyal regulars and a diverse food offering across lunch, dinner, weekend trade and functions, this is a fast-paced operation where no two days are the same.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape menus, lift standards, develop your team and make a real impact on the kitchen operation.

We’re open to experienced Head Chefs, as well as strong Sous Chefs or senior Chefs who are ready to take the next step in their career. If you’re confident leading a team, commercially minded and thrive in a busy kitchen, we want to hear from you.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and confident leading a busy kitchen team.

You’ll ideally have 2–3 years’ experience in a senior kitchen leadership role, however, we’re more interested in your capability, attitude and leadership potential than simply the number of years on your CV.

You could be an experienced Head Chef looking for your next challenge or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up into your first Head Chef position.
