As a Data Manager I, you will serve as the primary point of contact for data management activities, overseeing data collection, cleaning, reconciliation, and delivery while partnering with Sponsors and internal teams to ensure successful study execution and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary internal and Sponsor contact for Data Management questions, issues, and escalations throughout the study lifecycle
- Manage data management activities including data collection, data cleaning, data reconciliation, database lock, and data delivery processes
- Develop and maintain Data Management Plans (DMPs) in collaboration with Sponsors and internal stakeholders
- Define study‑specific data processing requirements, edit checks, and data quality standards to ensure clean and reliable data
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish study setup requirements, including visit schedules, demographic data collection, and related configurations
- Lead the development, review, approval, and maintenance of data transfer specifications and requirements
- Coordinate with programming teams to support data file creation, edit check development, and validation activities
- Generate and review sample data files and support Sponsor approval processes for data transfers
- Manage database lock activities and timelines to ensure data integrity and on‑time study deliverables
- Serve as the primary escalation point for Data Correction Requests (DCRs), queries, and Sponsor concerns
- Participate in the review and approval of Data Management study setup components to ensure quality and compliance
- Maintain complete and audit‑ready Data Management documentation, including DMPs, file specifications, transfer agreements, DCRs, and client communications
- Conduct routine status meetings with Sponsors, CROs, and internal teams, including agenda preparation and meeting documentation
- Process routine study data runs and support sample, interim, complete, and final data transfers
- Identify out‑of‑scope requests and communicate them to Project Management for change order assessment and billing consideration
- Provide study metrics and status updates to support monthly reporting and project oversight
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Data Management or related experience, preferably within a clinical research environment
- Prior client‑facing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and data management principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
- Exposure to SAS and/or SQL preferred
- Knowledge of CDISC SDTM standards preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sponsors, programmers, project teams, and other cross‑functional stakeholders
