Objective

Participate in the execution and development of APML polymer projects by contributing to formulation optimization, laboratory testing, data generation, and project-related activities. Support the design, evaluation, and improvement of polymer formulations to meet product performance and quality requirements while ensuring technical results are translated into meaningful and practical outcomes. Execute laboratory and project activities, analyze experimental data, communicate findings effectively, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project execution, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to departmental and corporate objectives.

What Does the Job Do?

  • Execute assigned tasks and actively participate in APML polymer projects under the guidance of the Project Leader or Sr. Engineer.
  • Plan, perform, and analyze laboratory experiments related to polymer synthesis, formulation development, and material characterization.
  • Generate reliable experimental data and provide technical analysis to support formulation development and project decision-making.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Development, and other business areas, to support project objectives.
  • Perform analytical testing and ensure data quality by following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and established procedures.
  • Support technical documentation, project records, design-related activities, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Assist with technical activities involving materials and suppliers, including material evaluation, specification review, and issue resolution under supervision.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance laboratory methods, data analysis, processes, and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry, with at least 80% of the academic program completed.
  • Experience through internships, laboratory work, analytical testing, material characterization, polymer-related projects, or similar technical environments is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory practices, laboratory safety, and analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of polymer characterization, formulation development, FTIR, chromatography, or data analysis tools is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
