What is the job?

We are looking for a part-time Hotel Services Team Member to join our Front Office Team. You will welcome guests, share your knowledge of Hobart and help each stay run smoothly.

Depending on experience, you may begin at Front Desk or in our premium Club Lounge, with opportunities to develop across Concierge, porter and valet services.

Your day to day

Front Office Operations – Welcome guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, manage guest accounts and assist with enquiries, reservations and requests. Assist with luggage, deliveries and valet parking, while sharing your knowledge of Hobart and Tasmania.

Club Lounge Operations – Deliver warm and personalised service to Club Lounge guests, including setting up and maintaining F&B presentations and ensuring the lounge reflects our premium standards.

What we need from you

We value attitude and potential. You are passionate about service, honest, humble, willing to help and keen to learn.

  • A valid full driver’s licence and confidence driving manual and automatic vehicles. This is an essential requirement.
  • Full flexibility across a rotating seven-day roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and occasional night shift coverage.
  • A valid Tasmanian RSA, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication, computer and customer service skills.
  • A passion for Tasmania and sharing your local knowledge.
  • Based in Hobart or already planning to relocate.

Previous Front Office or customer service experience is welcomed but not essential. Experience in hotel Club Lounges, fine dining or premium F&B environments will be highly regarded. We also value experience from sales, premium retail and other luxury service environments.

Opera or PMS experience and hospitality qualifications are advantageous but not required. Training will be provided.

Applicants must hold valid Australian working rights for the duration of their employment. Employer-sponsored visa arrangements are not available for this position.
