About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Hook truck and trailer and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely haulage service in the Kapiti Region. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

What you’ll need.

We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver who takes pride in safe, high-quality work. You’ll have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and be committed to excellent customer service.

You’ll bring

A valid Class 5 NZ Driver’s Licence
Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
A solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance and fatigue management
Strong attention to detail and good record keeping skills
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out daily checks and maintenance
