Position Details

• Position: Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Location: Central Florida
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

• Prior neurosurgical experience preferred.
• Prior surgical experience necessary.

About the Opportunity

Join an established neurosurgery team in the area with four neurosurgeons, four APPs, two neurointerventional and two neuro-hospitalists. This role combines operative, neuro-ICU, trauma and outpatient responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
• Participate in approximately three operative days per week, including cranial and spine cases.
• Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
• Provide approximately two days per week of outpatient clinic care.
• Participate in shared call responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Experienced provider required.
• Prior neurosurgical experience preferred.
• Prior surgical experience necessary.
