InterContinental Wellington is looking for a Duty Engineer to join our team.

Your Role

Assist the Maintenance team with general hotel and building minor maintenance and ensure that work is completed to a high standard that aligns with the expectations and satisfaction of our customers.

Carry out scheduled inspections
General building minor maintenance repairs
Respond to requests from departments throughout the day
General building maintenance & repairs
Investigate equipment for faults

What You'll Need

General maintenance experience
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Strong communication skills! You will be building working relationships with people across the hotel team and interacting with guests
Flexibility - you are required to be available for rotating shifts, including weekends.
