About the Role

We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity, November 2026 to November 2027, for an Internal Sales & Estimation professional to join our Plate team in East Tāmaki, Auckland. You'll work closely with customers, our sales team and the production floor to deliver accurate quotes and outstanding service.

What You'll Do

Prepare accurate quotations and estimates from customer drawings, specifications and enquiries
Process customer orders and manage day-to-day account queries
Provide technical advice and product knowledge to customers
Follow up on quotes to support sales conversion and build strong customer relationships
Liaise with production and operations to confirm lead times and product availability

What You'll Bring

Experience in internal sales, estimating or customer service within steel, metals, manufacturing or a related trade industry
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong numeracy and accuracy preparing quotes and processing orders
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple customer requests at once
Confident computer skills, comfortable using business or ERP systems
Currently residing in NZ or holding a valid work visa
Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
