About The Role

A role you will love
The Site Support Technician provides technical support for a wide range of IT services and technologies, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The role also supports the delivery of IT projects and is primarily based at one site, with occasional travel to other office locations as required.

Other key duties and responsibilities are as follows
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution within agreed service levels.
- Maintain effective communication with internal customers and technology teams regarding incidents and requests.
- Support the development of the Global Tech Support Team through guidance and best practice sharing.
- Deliver on-site IT support, equipment management, asset control, and workspace maintenance.
- Support IT projects and collaborate with 2nd and 3rd Line Support teams.

What will you bring to the role?
- Strong understanding of IT support processes and technical procedures.
- Experience supporting users in fast-paced environments and collaborating across teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, applying best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and endpoint support technologies.
- Understanding of IT security principles and mitigation practices.
- Ability to maintain high service standards and meet agreed SLAs.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and network troubleshooting.
- 5+ year of relevant IT support experience.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is CAD $60,000 - $70,000.
