About The Role

Honeywell is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our Software Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support scalable enterprise applications and AI-driven solutions while collaborating with global cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ReactJS, Python, Django, Golang, Database Administration, and LLM/AI development .

Your role will also include overseeing, supervising, and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end‑to‑end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS , Python , and Django .
Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services using Python and Golang .
Develop scalable and secure web applications following Honeywell engineering standards.
Design, administer, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
Implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) , RAG architectures, and AI agents.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
Ensure software quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in ReactJS , JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience with Python and Django Framework .
Experience developing applications/services using Golang .
Solid understanding of database design, performance tuning, indexing, backup, and recovery.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar databases.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure , AWS , or GCP .
Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and RAG frameworks .
Experience building AI-powered enterprise applications.
Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment practices.
Exposure to manufacturing, industrial software, IoT, or connected product ecosystems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
