About The Role
Summary
Under general supervision, oversees moderately complex implementation projects or oversees various aspects of highly complex implementation projects. Responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure implementation deliverables are delivered on time and meet client requirements. Activities may include development of work plan, identify appropriate resources needed, coordinate activities of project team, facilitate/lead client meetings or other design/specifications sessions and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Ensures that implementations and related services are delivered on time and meet client requirements by maintaining control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget.
Job Description
Responsible for administration and support of integration components for enterprise applications (EAI) using IBM middleware Technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, OS patching, security vulnerability remediation, audits, and DR activities.
- Installation, configuration, upgrading, development, remote technical support, troubleshooting, and system administration of WebSphere MQ and IIB v10 and above especially in ACE 13.
- Planning, Installation, and Administration of WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, ACE 13 on various platforms Linux and Windows.
- Installing and configuring MQ V8.x, 9.x on various platforms.
- Installing and setting up MQ/Process monitoring tools
- Knowledge on infrastructure maintenance – housekeeping, server patching and other upgrades .
- Knowledge about databases like DB2, ORACLE, and SQL Server .
- Good knowledge in CI/CD, IBM PMR process, DevOps concepts, Security vulnerabilities, Audits and DR activities.
- Good knowledge on monitoring tools like Splunk, Kibana etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new environments and learn new technologies.
- AWS and Azure services’ knowledge and about the components on how it works
- Enable AI‑assisted operations by partnering with Platform, DevOps, and Innovation teams to support intelligent monitoring, proactive health checks, and anomaly detection across IIB environments.
- Integrate IIB operational data (logs, metrics, alerts) with AI‑driven platforms and dashboards to improve observability and operational insights.
- Contribute to Agentic and AI‑assisted workflows by providing domain expertise (IIB, MQ, environments, controls) and ensuring safe, governed access to system data.
- Support AI‑driven compliance and optimization initiatives , including audit evidence generation, vulnerability correlation, MTTR reduction, and participation in PoCs—while ensuring security, governance, and production stability.

- Install and Configured WMQ 8.0 / 9.0 on Linux and windows platforms
- Install IIB on Linux servers from scratch in DEV,QA, Stage and Production environments and configure it for High Availability, provided support for any issues.
- Install latest fix packs for MQ and IIB whenever needed.
- Create and configure IBM MQ series objects like Queue Managers, Queues, channels, Message Brokers, Execution Groups etc.
- Deploying Message flows, Message sets to interact with applications running on Distributed systems
- Provided Application support for various applications and applications running on IBM WebSphere family products i.e. IBM WebSphere MQ series 8.x, Message Broker 8.0, IIB 10 on various platforms.
- Monitor MQ and IIB .
- Work with IBM support for PMRs.
- Involved in Implementation and upgrades.
- Wrote scripts for creating, recreating and maintaining Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, processes, and other MQ Objects.
- Security using SSL for MQ Channels on various platforms, provided SSL support and management of digital certificates and key repositories .
- Monitoring application and system logs to proactively find potential problems and take required action.

- Deployed IIB/WMB message flows using shell scripts to multiple environments and involved in troubleshooting of Message Broker.
- Providing 24/7 support for WebSphere MQ and IIB Issues.
- Developed documentation for processes and protocols required for effective Administration.
- Worked on MQ architecture by setting up standards and procedures
- Ensure all AI‑enabled solutions adhere to WK security, audit, and governance standards , including access controls and traceability.
