This is a temporary, three-week, assignment in Montclair, NJ with one of Arctiq's clients. Candidates must have IT experience, a valid driver's license and be comfortable with local travel to multiple sites.
Position Summary
We are seeking a PC Technician to provide hands-on hardware and end-user support across multiple sites within Montclair, NJ. This role is responsible for Chromebook distribution and troubleshooting, smartboard support, password resets, and general Level 1 technical support. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between sites throughout the day and have a valid driver's license.
Technician Functions
- Chromebook distribution
- Troubleshoot Chromebook connectivity
- Smartboard connectivity and configuration
- Student and staff password reset
- End point connectivity
- Other light Level 1 troubleshooting and support
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required; must be able to travel to different sites within Montclair, NJ.
- Experience supporting Chromebooks required.
- Experience with smartboard setup and connectivity.
- Familiarity with basic network/endpoint connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience performing user account and password resets (e.g., Active Directory or similar).
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to support both students and staff.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently across multiple locations.
