About The Role

We are seeking motivated and analytical Engineering Interns to join our Operations team. The Industrial Engineering Intern will support Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production, or Operations Excellence functions by assisting with time studies, process observations, data collection, productivity analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a paid internship opportunity that offers hands-on exposure to real-world manufacturing and operational environments, allowing students to apply engineering principles to improve efficiency, productivity, and business performance while gaining valuable industry experience. What You'll Be Doing Conduct time studies and work measurements on selected production and support processes. Observe, document, and map process flows and standard work methods. Collect, compile, and analyze operational and productivity data. Support engineers and operational teams in identifying opportunities for process improvement. Assist in evaluating cycle time, labor utilization, and resource efficiency. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects. Support Operations Excellence initiatives, including process optimization and waste reduction activities. Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations. Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and operations personnel to gather accurate data and insights. Support project implementation and monitor improvement outcomes where applicable. Who We're Looking For Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Or other related engineering disciplines Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts such as: Time Studies Work Measurement Process Improvement Productivity Analysis Lean Manufacturing Principles Strong analytical and observational skills. Comfortable working in a manufacturing and operational environment. Good data management and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Why Join Us?
