Communications Coordinator, International Markets at a Glance….
As a key member of the international communications team, you will help ensure communications programs are delivered on time, with strong attention to detail and a consistent voice across its two international regions – Emerging Markets and European Pacific Developed Markets. You’ll support content development and publishing across employee channels, contribute to executive-ready materials, and help organize processes that keep communications work moving smoothly across regions and stakeholders.
What’s on the menu?
- Support the international communications team in delivering communications tactics and materials for Emerging Markets and European Pacific Developed Markets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather input, confirm approvals, and ensure regional requirements are reflected in final deliverables.
- Help maintain messaging consistency across materials by using approved language, templates, and tone guidance.
Content Coordination
- Assist in drafting and editing content for corporate announcements, press releases, and executive presentations, under guidance from senior communications partners.
- Proofread and format content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and readiness for publication or leadership review.
- Maintain organized content libraries (e.g., message maps, FAQs, boilerplates, templates) to enable efficient reuse and adaptation.
- Internal Communications (Channels & Publishing)
- Support day-to-day management of employee communications channels such as intranet pages, Firstup, newsletters, and related content hubs.
- Coordinate publishing workflows, including drafting posts, staging content, routing for review, and confirming publication timing.
- Support production needs for town halls and employee events (e.g., run-of-show coordination, slide compilation, speaker support logistics).
Media Relations & Insights Support
- Support the team’s use and ongoing development of an international media monitoring and social listening platform by helping with basic setup requests, tagging, and reporting formats.
- Help summarize monitoring outputs into simple weekly/monthly snapshots for internal audiences, under supervision.
- Maintain organized records of coverage summaries and recurring insights.
Project & Budget Coordination
- Track communications project timelines, task lists, and status updates; proactively flag risks to deadlines.
- Support coordination with vendors (e.g., creative, production, translation) by organizing briefs, collecting estimates, and tracking deliverables.
- Assist with event or program budget tracking by maintaining spreadsheets, capturing invoices/PO references (where applicable), and supporting reconciliation processes per internal policy.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in communications, PR, marketing, journalism, or a related coordination role.
- Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate inputs across stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a global, matrixed environment across cultures and time zones.
- Strong organization skills, including version control and documentation discipline.
