Job Summary

As a Nurse Manager, you provide leadership and oversee the daily operations of the patient care area at ProMedica.

In this role, you work with leadership and staff to plan and provide quality, consistent patient care and services. You will manage the unit organization and ensure compliance, integrate safety and quality measures, and promote evidence-based and ethical care.

You will interview and hire new employees and coordinate their orientation with the Unit Clinical Educator.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years in surgical nursing, of which a minimum of 3 years was at the management level.
  • License: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state in which you are working
  • Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS

P REFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s Degree
  • Certification: CNOR
