Where You’ll Make a Difference

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Work Safe Act requirements, proactively identifying, mitigating, and reporting safety risks, incidents, and near misses.
Support product development projects from concept to commercialization in collaboration with senior designers, ensuring timely delivery and effective project management.
Maintain accurate development records, project documentation, specifications, product costing, compliance data, and master data for traceability and knowledge management.
Evaluate raw materials and ingredient suitability for product applications, ensuring alignment with technical, quality, and business requirements.
Coordinate production trials, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide technical support to customers, key accounts, and commercial teams.
Contribute to innovation projects and new product introductions through cross-functional collaboration and pilot development activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing formulations, reducing costs, standardizing products, managing risks, and improving time-to-market and customer experience.
Support manufacturing operations through complaint resolution, production issue investigations, staff training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Promote sustainability, ethical business practices, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with company policies while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

What Makes You the Right Fit

University Degree, typically Food Technology or similar
1+ years in Product Development roles within food
Manufacturing & commercial awareness
Good understanding of Food Standards Australia New Zealand
Clean, current NZ full Driver’s License
Able to work as part of a team, leading when required and work in a global team of professionals
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Communicates with clarity & has a high level of attention to detail
Flexibility / adaptability
Action oriented
