Requirement

M . Tech (Design / Thermal)

• 2 - 4 years of experience in Product Design and Development preferably in the field of Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
• Hands-on experience in product design, engineering calculations, testing, and validation activities
• Experience in applying the technical understanding and design principles to the product design and should be able to correlate with actual product testing
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and correlate analytical results with product testing outcomes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, along with statistical data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ; Well conversant with presentation through MS tools and experience of presentation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and engineering methodologies
• Creative mindset with a strong affinity for learning and driving innovation
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance.

Added Advantages

• Exposure to Engineering tools – DFMEA, DOE
• Knowledge of GT Suite / Matlab / Matcad

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Execute assigned project activities and engineering deliverables under project timelines.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones, to meet business objectives
• Ensure timely execution with focus on speed and quality.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and reports

Design & Engineering

• Support development and evaluation of engineering concepts and design proposals.
• Perform design calculations (thermal, machine design, fluid mechanics) with guidance from Senior engineers.
• Assist In product design validation, manufacturability, and performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with various engineering teams - Design, Procurement, Engineering Laboratories, Plants, Quality, for project execution

Testing, Validation & Problem Solving

• Support Prototype builds, Analyze test data.
• Perform validation and ensure compliance with UL standards and design intent
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective actions.

Project Management

• Track assigned tasks and communicate progress proactively.
• Identify project risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to engineering processes.
• Support project closure activities and lessons learned documentation.
• Follow configuration management practices to ensure proper documentation

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning

Engineering Tools & Methods

• Support DFMEA, DOE, VAVE activities under guidance
• Leverage tools such as GT Suite, Mathcad, and other analytical platforms to drive continual improvement
• Ensure effective use of engineering calculations, simulations, and digital tools.
