About The Role

As a CCE, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to execution and renewal. Your expertise will be instrumental in mitigating risks, optimizing contract terms, and identifying new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless contract management and provide strategic guidance.

  • Review and analyze complex commercial contracts, identifying key provisions and potential risks.
  • Negotiate and draft contract amendments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Implement contract management best practices, including efficient filing systems and regular contract reviews.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters, ensuring compliance and minimizing exposure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging contract management technologies.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members, ensuring a consistent understanding of contract management processes.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to resolve complex contractual disputes and negotiate favorable outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with a focus on contract law and commercial practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of contract law, including relevant industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to building relationships.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools, such as ContractWorks or Concord.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, attending relevant conferences and workshops.
