Surveillance Camera Operator, Full-Time, Night Shift, $16.00/hr

POSITION SUMMARY

The Surveillance Operator I is accountable to protect casino assets via CCTV.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the safety of employees and guests and protect the casinos assets via CCTV.
Clandestinely observe guests and employees on casino property for criminal activity and/or violations of the state gaming commission regulations and the company policies and procedures. Report observations to company and state officials when appropriate.
Record surveillance activity in daily log.
Completes all company required training successfully.
Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
Ability to refrain from fraternization with employees from other departments.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone as well as radio equipment.
Ability to work with and utilize digital recording equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
Act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and work in a dark, windowless environment.
Ability to use stairs required.
Sitting 90%, walking 10%
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Casino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, changing temperatures and smoke. May include a boat and/or floating barge, hotel and atrium.
Ability to be at work on time on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Comply with our drug/alcohol free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause/post-accident drug tests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Basic understanding of games, manuals, policies, procedures, internal controls as well as state regulations pertaining to gaming within first 90 days of employment.
Successful completion of Op I assessment within 180 days.
High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
Must be able to obtain a valid Missouri Gaming license
Must be 21 years of age.
Must have no other family members employed at the Isle of Capri Casino/Hotel Boonville.
