Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Manager in leading and guiding the implementation of WSH guidelines and compliance check directly connected with daily operations on the property.
- Lead and/or participate in WSH incident / accident investigation and reporting with assigned Division Safety Committee. Ensure complete and thorough investigations and timely follow-up all recommended actions by stake holders.
- Monitor completion status of investigation and completion of action items. Provide monthly status of overall completion rate to Director for review.
- Lead and/or participate in conducting hazard identification and risk assessment in the assigned Division Safety Committee.
- Lead and/or coordinate the reports and follow-up review with other WSH Single-Point-of-Contact (SPOC) on all control measures.
- Collect and provide safety operation information for data analytics.
- Support WSH team members and internal stakeholders to organize WSH promotional activities and events.
- Outlining and updating safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards,
- Support in the WSH roadmap, through working with the assigned Division Safety Committee in the implementation of activities set out year-on-year.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Candidate must possess at least a Polytechnic Diploma in any field.
- Specialist Diploma in WSH, equivalent of Level C, is a must.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and/or Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 year(s) of working experience in WSH, preferably 3 years in related field
Other Prerequisites
- A good understanding of all local safety & health regulations is a must.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hazard identification
- Knowledgeable in incident investigation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
