Senior Instructional Designer

What You Will Do

The Senior Instructional Designer will play a key execution-focused role in supporting the Senior Manager, Instructional Design, by driving team priorities, operational initiatives, and delivering business-critical learning projects.

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role. The role is expected to demonstrate operational leadership by driving priorities, influencing outcomes, and enabling effective execution across peers and project teams.

This role combines instructional design expertise with strong consulting, stakeholder management, and operational leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be highly accountable, self-directed, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision while driving projects, solving problems, and influencing outcomes across the Instructional Design team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-impact learning solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to analyze needs, recommend solutions, and drive project execution.
  • Act as a trusted consultant, effectively engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Support the Instruction Design Manager in driving team priorities, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
  • Identify challenges proactively, recommend solutions, and independently drive issues to resolution.
  • Establish effective working practices, streamline workflows, and improve team efficiency.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and business insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Support project governance by proactively managing risks, upholding quality standards, and ensuring on-time delivery through effective collaboration.

What We Look For

Experience

  • 10 - 14 years of experience in Learning Consulting / Learning Experience Design, and Instructional Design
  • Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex learning projects and operational initiatives.
  • Experience influencing teams and driving outcomes without formal authority.
