About The Role

Role Overview We are seeking a diligent and resilient Quality Control Officer to oversee and ensure the standards of our packaging operations. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting raw packaging materials, monitoring active packaging lines, and verifying that all finished goods comply with established safety, quality, and labeling standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine quality inspections and audits across all packaging lines to ensure compliance with product specs and visual standards. Inspect incoming packaging materials (labels, cartons, seals, containers) for defects prior to production use. Monitor seal integrity, batch coding, weight accuracy, and labeling precision during the packaging run. Identify, document, and quarantine any defective products or packaging non-conformities immediately. Log accurate quality inspection records and basic data entry into the system using internal software/computer systems. Collaborate with production operators to troubleshoot minor packaging deviations and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualification: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree. Computer Literacy: Basic computer operation skills (data entry, standard software, and digital record-keeping). Work Ethic & Discipline: Strict adherence to company safety rules, hygiene standards, and operational guidelines. Core Competencies: Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to new procedures, and maintain high performance under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Excellent observational skills with a high degree of precision in detecting visual defects.
