About The Role

The Translational Science Department at BeOne Medicine s is seeking a highly motivated Principal/Senior Principal Investigator in the area s of autoi mmune, inflammatory and fibrotic diseases . The successful candidate s are expected to lead a group of scientists to evaluate mechanism of action , PK/PD relationship , and efficacy of therapeutic candidates . The ideal candidate will have extensive research experience in autoimmune, inflammatory and/or fibrotic diseases, and strong leadership and team management capabilities. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead translational efforts to design, execute, and interpret clinically relevant experiments to advance our therapeutic programs into clinic. Establish and execute biomarker (e.g. PD, prognostic, predictive) strategy to support early clinical development. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., CROs). Present their work in internal and external meetings. Mentor and manage a growing team of scientists; foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Think critically and creatively, be able to determine appropriate resources for resolution of problems and have strong organizational skills. Qualifications Ph.D., MD, or Ph.D./MD degree and expertise in a relevant scientific field, ideally with 3-6 years of related work experience in pharma or biotech environment although not required. Strong scientific backgroun d in translational research, ideally demonstrated by scientific publications, presentations, and/or patent s . Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes Ability to think strategically and execute effectively Knowledge of regulatory requirements and IND process. Excellent interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills.
