Activity Project Manager (2 Years Fixed Term Contract) Michelin, the Worldwide leader in Tires, is hiring!

MISSION

Lead an industrial or Process bronze project to reach the objectives set by the Project Sponsor and the steering committee, following their orientations and respecting the Industrial or Process Project Approach.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

The framework of the project or program (including resources definition) is consistent with the objectives assigned by the sponsor and the steering committee
To lead the project, Industrial Project Approach or Process project approach is applied and the appropriated standards are respected (Project charter, check lists, milestone validation, governance, budget management…).
CdC requirements are satisfied, respecting the 3 components of Quality/Cost/Timing and risks management.
Project team is managed according to the Manager Guide and the Group Transverse Management guidelines (cf MOP _ 0405_DGP).
Change Management is taken into account and produces the expected results.
Perform a self-assessment of his project(s) and establish a progress action plan.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including exposure to industrial project management.
A professional qualification in Project Management will be considered an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MS Project).
Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.
