ROLE: Senior SAP ABAP CDS Consultant

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The CDS ABAP Senior Consultant is a critical role responsible for developments covering all aspects of development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, configuration and support for SAP systems including integration with non SAP applications in a project in S4 HANA environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecting, designing and helping successful implementations of SAP S4 HANA in customer organizations.
Liaising with Delivery Teams to help grow the Business around upcoming technical features in line with Organizational strategy and goals.
Mentoring Junior ABAP or Technical Team members within the Organization.
Drive with building Assets and Accelerators in SAP ABAP and other niche technical areas.
Ability to devise and lead Go To Market strategies to assist Sales and Alliance teams in expanding Bristlecone’s Technical footprint globally.
Build Assets and Accelerators to reduce the overall cost to serve.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

8 plus years of ABAP Development experience, at least 3 years in SAP ABAP CDS.
At least 3 end to end implementations not including Rollouts.
ABAP Certification would be an added advantage.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Worked in real time environment in HANA.
Worked on ABAP on HANA with experience at tech lead level.
Expertise in Calculation Views, CDS and ODATA.
Extensive experience in AMDP classes.
Aware on Transport mechanism for HANA artefacts.
Understanding of HANA architecture.
Understanding of inmemory concept.
Expertise in Core ABAP Reports, Module Pool, Smart forms, OOP.
Expertise in Enhancement and Modification Framework.
Understanding of Workflow and Adobe forms.
Operations architecture Backup and Recovery, Disaster recover, High availability etc.
Infrastructure architecture Sizing, virtualization, desktops, networks etc.
System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios.
Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule.
Involved in planning and testing of the Development Objects.
Manage all SAP technical changes.
Deep understanding of SAP best practice on Backup and Recovery.
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Team Handling.
Client Communication.
