About The Role
WSP are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Architecture or Structural Engineering graduate or final year student to join our Sharjah office as an Intern. This opportunity offers hands-on experience working alongside our multidisciplinary design teams, supporting the delivery of architectural, landscape, and utility infrastructure projects across the UAE and wider Middle East region.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to real-world engineering and design practices while developing technical skills in a collaborative and professional environment.
- Support the Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Utilities teams in the preparation of design drawings and technical documentation.
- Assist in developing concepts, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and engineering details.
- Help coordinate design information between different disciplines, including civil, structural, utilities, landscape, and architectural teams.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and project deliverables.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, technical research, and material/product investigations.
- Support the review and organization of project documents and drawing registers.
- Participate in internal design coordination meetings and record actions where required.
- Assist in updating BIM and CAD models in accordance with project standards.
- Undertake site visits when required to gain practical exposure to project delivery and construction activities.
- Support project teams with general engineering and design-related tasks as assigned.
- Currently pursuing or graduated in a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in infrastructure, urban development, architecture, and multidisciplinary design projects.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
