About The Role
Your role, your impact
As a MuleSoft Architect, you'll lead complex enterprise integration initiatives and serve as the primary technical authority for MuleSoft and API management solutions. You'll design and deliver end-to-end integration architectures, including API specifications, layered API models, and system interaction patterns, while driving integrations across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and additional ERP platforms.
Leveraging your expertise in API development, RESTful architecture, and integration design patterns, you'll contribute to the delivery of scalable and secure solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. Working closely with globally distributed teams, you'll provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to support successful project delivery.
Your day-to-day
- Lead MuleSoft and API Management integration projects as the senior technical authority;
- Design and build end-to-end MuleSoft integration architectures, including detailed architecture diagrams, API layers, API specifications, and MuleSoft/Salesforce integration design patterns;
- Architect, implement, and support integrations with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and additional ERP systems;
- Apply RESTful architecture principles and drive all stages of the API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and governance;
- Develop APIs and integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and applicable programming languages;
- Design, develop, and optimize integrations across MuleSoft On-Premise, CloudHub, Cloud/SaaS applications, packaged applications, SDKs, APIs, and legacy systems;
- Apply certified MuleSoft expertise across integration architecture and implementation activities;
- Utilize ODBC, JDBC, third-party Anypoint connectors, messaging infrastructures, and message-queuing design patterns to deliver scalable integrations;
- Provide technical leadership to globally distributed teams, mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
Keys to your success
- Minimum of 2 MuleSoft certifications;
- 5+ years serving as a technical lead for MuleSoft and API management integration projects;
- Experience integrating with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including at least 2 enterprise-level implementation projects;
- Experience with both MuleSoft On-Premise and Cloud solutions, messaging infrastructure, queueing design patterns, and integrations involving Cloud/SaaS applications, packaged applications, APIs, SDKs, and legacy systems;
- Experience developing integration flows in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, deploying and managing Mule applications on CloudHub, and securing APIs using MuleSoft platform capabilities;
- Experience using one or more programming languages for API development;
- Knowledge of all API lifecycle stages and a deep understanding of RESTful architecture and its practical application;
- Ability to design and build MuleSoft architecture diagrams detailing API layers and specifications;
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior team members.
Extra edge
- Experience integrating with additional ERPs such as Oracle ERP, IFS, Siebel;
- Familiarity with MuleSoft and Salesforce integration design patterns;
- Familiarity with ODBC, JDBC, and third-party MuleSoft Anypoint Connectors.
