About The Role

Grow your career with a global retailer as an Analyst   within our Financial Accounting team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position .

As part of our Financial Accounting team, you will be part of a high performing and results driven team with a focus on process, diligence, and accuracy. A key aspect of this role will see you analysing inventory data and financial transactions to provide insights for continuous improvement.

What does the role look like? 

Analyse and resolve variances or irregularities across transactional data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.  
Troubleshoot and investigate discrepancies by liaising with various stakeholders to reach solutions in a timely manner.
Perform month end accounting activities including clearing adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify process inefficiencies and implement enhancements to strengthen accuracy and control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams around executing new financial processes.
Prepare financial and ad hoc reporting and analyses.
Previous experience in in business, accounting or related fields.
Demonstrated experience using SAP to accurately process, maintain, and manage data, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise work with stakeholders at various levels.
Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and systems, with a curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Experience with Inventory Costing (MAP) highly desirable.

Remuneration

Transparent tiered salary range of  $143,400 - $163,500  including Superannuation.
