Casual Security Officer - Maryborough Downer Rail

About The Role

  • Must be flexible to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and short-notice cover.
  • What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)
  • You’ll be responsible for protection of people and prevention of any theft or damage on site.
  • Completion of site patrols
  • Control access to and from the site of entering vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Mobile Vehicle Patrols
  • Issuing and management of keys and access cards
  • Monitoring of alarms and CCTV systems
  • Submission of reports
  • Hazard identification

What You’ll Bring (experience required)

  • The ideal candidate will ideally have proven experience on an active, high-traffic industrial sites (e.g., rail yards, bus depots, logistics hubs, or heavy manufacturing plants).
  • Experience in the role of Security Officer/Crowd Controller at varying sites
  • Experience with CCTV and control room monitoring
  • Current Queensland Security License
  • Queensland Driver's License
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
