About The Role

The VIE, Industrial Planning will support a key transformation project within the Industrial Planning team: the transition from a monthly planning and order placement process to a weekly planning cadence. Over an 18 month mission, this role will assess current processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and support the design and implementation of a more agile planning model. The position will work across Industrial Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to help redefine planning processes, decision points, and tool requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end assessment of the current monthly planning and order placement process, including governance, data flows, decision points, systems usage, and cross-functional interfaces.
  • Map current-state and future-state planning processes, with a focus on enabling a weekly planning and order placement cadence.
  • Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies related to process, data, systems, and organizational ways of working.
  • Analyze planning parameters, order placement logic, and planning horizons to support a more responsive and effective operating model.
  • Partner with Industrial Planning, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to gather requirements and align on process changes.
  • Support the definition of business needs for system and tool enhancements required to enable the future-state planning model.
  • Contribute to testing, implementation follow-up, and adoption of new processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Prepare analyses, dashboards, and presentations to support project governance, decision-making, and progress tracking.
  • Document recommendations, standard operating procedures, and change impacts to support sustainable implementation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex processes and data into clear recommendations.
  • Interest in supply chain planning, process improvement, and transformation projects.
  • First experience through internship or apprenticeship in supply chain, planning, operations, consulting, or project management is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with ERP/MRP or planning tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with operational and project stakeholders.
  • Organized, rigorous, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English.

VIE Program Requirements

  • Ages 18 - 28
  • French or European Union citizen
  • Be available to work in New York, NY for the entire 18-month program
  • Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°)
  • Available to devote yourself full time to your assignment
  • Salary: The salary for this position is €5072.76 per month.
  • Location: This is an in-person position based at our Corporate Headquarters in NYC.
  • Must be available to start on January 4, 2027.
