About The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating company-wide technical projects from initiation through completion. This role will oversee strategic initiatives such as the AWS migration, coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D and other departments, and serve as Scrum manager for development teams. The Project Manager will ensure successful project delivery, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and coordinate technical and operational aspects of production releases.
The position will report to the VP of Research and Development.
The remote position is eligible for anyone in the U.S. however, preference will be given to candidates in Milwaukee and Raleigh, NC.
Essential Responsibilities
The essential responsibilities of the Project Manager are
- Manage company-wide strategic projects from planning through execution, including large-scale initiatives such as cloud migration and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple departments including R&D, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
- Serve as Scrum manager for development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Coordinate production release cycles, including identification, tracking, and prioritization of production tickets and deployment coordination.
- Develop and execute communication plans for major projects, including customer communication strategies and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, roadmaps, and status reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Track project metrics, manage budgets and resources, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with team leads and technical stakeholders to resolve blockers and ensure project momentum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a software development or technology environment.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating sprint ceremonies.
- Familiarity with project management tools (required); experience with Jira is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.

Salary Range: $115 - 120k
