Role: Exams and Assessment Assistant
Academy: Outwood Academy Valley
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary (Actual Salary): £23,669 to £24,044
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only + 20 days (42 weeks)
Are you highly detail-oriented and proficient in handling sensitive data, ready to play a critical supporting role in the academy’s examination and assessment processes? Do you want to ensure that all administrative and logistical elements of student progress tracking are managed accurately and efficiently? The overall purpose of this post is to assist the Examinations and Assessment Officer in supporting the accurate management of all examinations and maintaining accurate pupil tracking data.

The Assistant supports the Exams Officer in the management of examinations and pupil tracking data. Data duties include assisting in data production, supporting the use of 'Praising Stars', and assisting in the statistical analysis of assessment trends. They produce relevant reports from 'Praising Stars' on targets, progress, and attendance, and print reports for parents.
Examination support involves assisting with the exams MIS, distributing timetables and letters, organising invigilation timetabling and training, and ensuring the timely receipt of mark sheets. They must comply and be familiar with all JCQ regulations.

Essential experience is working with management information and data collection. Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in standard ICT packages including Excel, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while managing deadlines. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to respect confidentiality, analyse data, and relate sympathetically to students.
Desirable experience includes assisting with or organising educational examinations and experience in the use of educational management information systems. The individual must be willing and able to enhance their qualifications.
