Job Description

The Sr. Specialist, Technical Sales is responsible for generating new business and fostering growth in existing moderate to complex accounts. This position manages the assessment of customer needs, proposes solutions based on deep technical expertise, and resolves complex issues while expanding sales opportunities. Additionally, he/she/they may provide technical training and guidance to junior staff to support overall sales performance.

Attend customer meetings and conduct sales presentations to demonstrate products/services and address client needs
Provide technical expertise to support aggressive selling goals and ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare moderately complex technical proposals and presentations for sales teams to assist in securing business
Identify and analyze customer/client needs to develop strategies that competitively meet those needs
Advise customers and sales teams on technical aspects of products/services to align with client objectives
Develop and execute trainings utilizing technical expertise to enhance customer understanding of products
Follow up consistently on sales opportunities and inquiries to maintain engagement and facilitate decision-making
Manage external competitive pressures and objections to retain customers and enhance sales effectiveness
