Job Description

Leads the Environmental Health & Safety team by directing Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback. Administers the internal Facilities Services plan and develops processes and procedures that support business goals. Monitors initiatives and oversees timelines, approvals, and communication plans. Contributes to planning strategic Environmental Health & Safety initiatives and serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible for Suzhou, Minhang, Aurangabad, Norderstedt and Omrix. Will be contact for deliver in China

------- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ------

Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback.

Contributes to planning company programs and initiatives that promote the Environmental Health & Safety area's agenda.

Controls the allocation of internal and external resources, at the business unit level, in response to safety and environmental compliance issues.

Leads the development and deployment of company-wide training for new hires on safety and environmental issues.

Communicates strategically to highlight environmental health & safety initiatives, activities, and achievements that bring positive visibility to the organization.

Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Manages operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.

Creates a purpose driven environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the Environmental Health & Safety team.
