About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
Support for internal and external audits.
Tax recording and validation.
Month-end close process.
Monthly accruals.
Control follow-up and compliance management.
Fixed asset management.
Inventory Management.
Bank Reconciliation.
Prepayments Management.
Ensuring that all the General Ledger accounting and Financial / Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS and APMM GAP.
Additional functions may be required according to business area needs.
ICP Reconciliation.
IFRS16 Calculation and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
Years of Experience: 5-7 years’ experience with accounting and reporting.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
Experienced in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring control follow-up and compliance.
Experienced in global company and transaction volume management.
Software: Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas), ERP systems.
English Level: Advanced (fluent in both written and spoken communication).
