Sales and Application Engineering Co-op

About The Role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Independently support the global sales network on customer opportunities, including:
- Valve sizing and selection across the Flow Controls portfolio
- Application and product recommendations
- Technical support on requests for proposal (RFQs) and project bids
- Manage assigned RFQs end-to-end, including:
- Develop technical solutions
- Prepare and review quotations
- Recommend pricing strategy
- Collaborate with global sales teams, product engineering, product marketing, and technical experts to create alignment between customer requirements and product solutions
- Troubleshoot field installation problems and specify custom valve solutions
- Provide training and host Marshalltown Innovation Center site visits for sales representatives and customers
- Analyze and develop market studies on industry trends
For This Role, You Will Need
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Junior or Senior Standing
