What you'll be doing...

As a Retiree Accounting Clerk in our Accounting & Eligibility team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring retirees receive accurate and timely benefits information. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Reviewing retiree applications, determining eligibility, and establishing new retiree accounts in accordance with applicable Trust requirements and eligibility provisions
  • Maintaining retiree accounts by processing monthly updates, adjustments, balances, terminations, refunds, and other account changes
  • Reviewing reports and account information to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate retiree data and preparing spreadsheets and reports
  • Responding to retiree questions regarding eligibility, benefits, billing, and account information

Who you are...

  • Experienced: Two years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or other related experience
  • Organized: Prioritize work, able to multitask and be timely with work
  • Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills--both written and verbal
  • Service Minded: Deliver superior and timely customer service, exhibiting empathy and care
  • Detailed: Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Technically Savvy: Intermediate experience with Excel and Word
