About the role

The Assistant Manager – Employee Relations plays a key role in strengthening the organization's employee relations framework through effective litigation management, statutory compliance governance, risk mitigation, and implementation of strategic ER initiatives across commercial and manufacturing locations.

The role is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, managing employment-related disputes, supporting HRBPs on disciplinary and employee relations matters, and driving projects that improve workforce governance, risk visibility, and operational effectiveness. The position acts as a trusted partner to HR, Legal, Finance, and business leaders on labour law compliance and employee relations matters.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Litigation & Legal Risk Management
  • Manage and monitor labour and employment litigation matters across locations.
  • Maintain litigation tracker and provide periodic updates to leadership.
  • Lead and support out-of-court settlements in alignment with business, legal, and financial considerations
  • Coordinate with external counsel & internal stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain contingent liability tracker and support provisioning assessments.
  • PoSH Governance & Workplace Respect
  • Manage end-to-end PoSH governance across all locations.
  • Ensure constitution, renewal, and compliance of Internal Committees (ICs).
  • Conduct awareness programmes for all types of work with 100% completion
  • Deliver capability-building programmes for IC Members and Presiding Officers.
  • Facilitate and coordinate PoSH investigations & ensure adherence to statutory timelines.
  • Organize periodic IC meetings and maintain statutory documentation.
  • Manage filing of annual returns and statutory disclosures under PoSH requirements.
  • Administer and monitor SHE-Box complaints and ensure timely closure.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with PoSH Act requirements and internal standards.
  • Statutory Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure statutory compliance across commercial offices and assigned locations.
  • Handle statutory notices, inspection reports, and authority communications.
  • Track legislative and regulatory developments and support implementation of changes.
  • Monitor contractor compliance and principal employer obligations and ensure compliance CLM manual
  • ER Projects & Capability Building
  • Lead Project Pulse during Phase-2 and ensure 100% completion
  • Conducting Minimum Wage Survey for extended workforce across all locations and submission of the report
  • Conduct feasibility study and research for living wage and submit recommendations
  • Support ER Academy initiatives and awareness programmes.

  • Develop Supply HR budget tracker for live tracking.
  • Manage Complete Supply HR budget and reporting.
  • Develop Dashboard for Manpower cost tracking across all locations for extended workforce and develop strategy for mitigation
  • Provide advisory support to HRBPs on disciplinary matters and ER issues (offices)
  • Support workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
